  1. I'll bet there are so called "Humane Societies" and "Peta Facilities around the country that have deplorable conditions too. To impose on a majority of farmers rules intended to spotlight the few who mistreat their animals is ludicrous. I've been to hundreds of dairy farms and have NEVER seen cows or calves treated in this manner. Peta can point their fingers at true abusers but have no right to paint the dairy industry with a single brush.
